Simply Scrapping Crafts Blog Hop

Today Simply Scrapping Crafts is having a Blog Hop to share different masking techniques.Masking is the technique of covering a stamped image so that other images may be placed partly over it without the overlapping area being visible. When using this masking technique patience and careful cutting is required and that is a little difficult for me because I want instant gratification. I actually did have lots of fun with this project.  I am not very skilled in the arts of copic painting or pencil paints but I did color my card.

The chicken was my fore front stamp & the potted plants my background

After much intricate cutting of that chicken I did the masking magic!

Lot's of distressing and coloring here the finished project

I've you've never tried masking before, give it a try! The Stampin' Place has a great tips & technique guide for masking you can check there link here.

We have such an awesome time here at Simply Scrapping Crafts we sure would like for you to come on over and stay for awhile.  For a blissfully wonderful crafting experience check here for a site filled with fabulous resources.
